NEW YORK, NY (June 27, 2018) We are thrilled to welcome four new members to the National Board of Directors: Amy Adams, Mike Brown, Susan Gambardella, Deborah Rubin, and Dana Sullivan. We look forward to working with these individuals and will benefit tremendously from their experience and expertise, as we build our capacity to achieve double digit growth in the number of girls served and dramatically reduce barriers to their success.
Amy Adams is Vice President, Strategic Initiatives at Cummins, a global power leader that designs, manufactures, and services diesel and alternative fuel engines as well as related technology to consumers. Since 2017, Cummins has been a dedicated partner to Girls Inc., supporting our leadership development efforts, and opening doors for more girls to pursue non-traditional STEM fields.
Mike Brown is Managing Director in Audit and Assurance Services at Deloitte & Touche LLP. Brown has over 16 years of professional experience at Deloitte, providing his expertise in auditing, accounting, and financial advisory services to professionals globally. Brown also serves on the Board of Directors at Girls Inc. of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey.
Susan Gambardella is Senior Vice President of National Retail Sales-Convenience Retail Channel at Coca-Cola North America. Coca-Cola is a dedicated partner and investor in Girls Inc.and is committed to breaking down barriers for girls and women to succeed.
Deborah P. Rubin is Senior Partner, Practice Leader Co-Head—Board & CEO Services at RHR International. She specializes in managing and implementing organization change and serves executives in a wide range of settings, from family-owned businesses to multinational corporations.
Dana Sullivan is a highly-regarded lawyer in Oregon, where she is a partner at Buchanan Angeli Altschul & Sullivan. In addition to being an accomplished litigator, Sullivan is a passionate champion for girls, having served two terms on the Board of Girls Inc. of the Pacific Northwest.
